Local businesses need to act now to benefit from the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program.

The program allows customers to claim back 25% when they spend $40 or more on eligible dining and entertainment experiences. They can claim as many times as they’d like and get up to $125 back.

Since the program launched, there has been over 74,000 successful claims for dining worth over $2.1 million in rebates. There have been 42,000 successful claims for entertainment, worth $1.7 million in savings for customers.

With a total of $60 million to claim, there’s still time to promote the program to your customers.

Customers can claim for in-person entertainment experiences anywhere in Victoria, any day of the week. For dining, customers can claim for Monday to Thursday anywhere in Victoria outside of the CBD. Anyone with a valid Australian bank account can apply.

For dining, customers can claim when they spend $40 or more on eligible expenses at cafes, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, wineries and other eligible hospitality venues. Entertainment rebates are available when $40 or more is spent on experiences anywhere in Melbourne and Victoria, on any day of the week. It includes cinemas, museums, live performances, zoos, theme parks and more.
