Entry is now open for the 2021 Best Bites Food Guide! Importantly as part of the Covid-19 recovery program for local business, Council has taken the opportunity to reduce the 2022 food premises registration fees for those in the 2021 Best Bites guide.

Save money

Business can save around 20% on their annual fees simply by demonstrating excellence across healthy eating, accessibility and inclusion, energy and water efficiency, waste management and tobacco/alcohol management.

Simple process

Simply nominate and a member of the Best Bites Team will be in touch to book an assessment and guide you through the program. Assessments are done via a short one-on-one consultation visit. Businesses only need to meet the requirements for at least one of the five areas to be included in the guide.

Be in the guide

Being in the Best Bites Food Guide puts businesses on the map alongside hundreds of other quality local food businesses serving safe, healthy and sustainable food. The digital version is featured at mpbusiness.com.au/bestbites and the printed version is published in late Spring for distribution across the Mornington Peninsula.

Help is at hand

To help your business make the most of being in the Best Bites program , the Best Bites team have developed a suite of resources. These include real-life case studies featuring local businesses using best practice to leverage the benefits of the Best Bites program, and expert presentations on the five areas of the program.

Entry is free for all local food businesses. Discover the benefits of being part of this award-winning program.

Applications to be included in the 2021 printed Best Bites Guide close 31 August July 2021.
