Mornington Peninsula Shire has opened applications for a free, temporary Outdoor Dining Permit to use extra footpath space, parking space or street space for outdoor dining and takeaway. 

Following consultation with traders and feedback from residents and visitors regarding the extended outdoor dining program, the remaining parklet permits have been extended until 30 June 2021. 

All eligible permit holders have been contacted in relation to the permit extension.

 

Important details for those extending their permit

Please ensure your public liability insurance cover is extended to at least 30 June 2021.

If you are using the footpath in front of a neighbouring business, please ensure the neighbouring business consents to you continuing to use the footpath in front of their premises.

 

If you have a temporary liquor licence then you MUST forward a copy of this extension permission and your temporary liquor licence number to the VCGLR using the email title:

Council extension of outdoor dining permit (liquor licence number  xxxxxxxxx).

Your existing temporary limited outdoor dining licence number begins with a 9.
